The Boke Forum sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Victory over Fascism Day with the message that the achievements of the brave struggle of our ancestors for freedom and victory against the greatest evil of the twentieth century - fascism - have never been as important as today.
"At a time when some want to wake up the ghosts of the past, the memory of the people who laid down their lives in that struggle should be our guiding star and example," they said.
They pointed out that the heroic feat of Milan Spasić and Sergej Masera, the exploits of the Orijen Battalion, the smile for eternity of Ljub Čupić and many other known and unknown Bokeš, Montenegrin and all other heroes are a glorious legacy that should stimulate us to be better, nobler, more reasonable.
"In that faith, we congratulate everyone with a great sense of pride on Victory Day over fascism. Death to fascism, freedom to the people," announced the Boke Forum.
