DPS: The report against Damjanović's revanchism is unfounded and tendentious

The most arrogant and incompetent government of all time, faced with the fact that even six months after its formation, it has not produced any results, moreover the opposite - it causes outrage and scandals at every step - has decided to use revanchism in the fight against its ineffectiveness, announced the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS ).

The DPS states that the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vesna Bratić, in whose departments scandals are emerging, has decided to launch a season of criminal charges against officials of the former government.

The Government of Montenegro has filed a criminal complaint against former Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović, former secretary Smiljana Prelevic and unknown persons employed in that department, because they allegedly damaged the state budget for several thousand euros during the organization of a two-day gathering of the International Institute for Sustainable Technologies of Southeast Europe (SEEIIST ).

In the continuation of the application, it is written that the applicants, in the name and at the expense of the Ministry of Science, also paid 5.945 euros in the name of team building and the organization of an excursion that never happened, and that they paid for the reconstruction of the bathroom in the premises of the science and technology park, which does not even have a wet room. .

The DPS claim that all allegations from the criminal complaint are unfounded and tendentiously concocted.

"To the great disappointment of the aforementioned minister: all allegations from the criminal complaint are unfounded and tendentially designed to discredit one of the most respected figures on the political scene of Montenegro, the distinguished scientific worker, Dr. Sanje Damjanović, which, of course, will all be proven in the judicial process. Poor It is also sad that in an attempt to harm the former Minister of Science, the high-level SEEIIST project, which was supposed to bring an investment of over 250 million euros to Montenegro, is being deliberately compromised. The former Minister Damjanović had the greatest credit for the conception and implementation of this idea." , said DPS.

They add that the international conference was organized in accordance with international standards and in compliance with all regulations, which the applicants probably know, "although they hope that defamation will help them surface because they are at the very bottom of citizens' trust."
