The criminal complaint filed against the former Minister of Science, Sanja Damjanović, from the scandalous offices was reduced to guesses as to how many participants were there at the beginning of the seminar, and how many after the break or how the registration fee was paid, Duško Marković, the former Prime Minister of Montenegro, announced today.
He added that the criminal complaint "is nothing more than a chase against Damjanović, whose scientific and work achievements I cannot reach, much less cancel."
"Sanja Damjanović, as a recognized researcher and expert, was an excellent minister in the Government that I led. A scientist who secured a place for Montenegro and its experts at European and world institutes and projects. That is why the criminal complaint from the affair cabinet, reduced to guesses as to how many participants there were at the beginning of the seminar, and how much after the break or how the registration fee was paid is nothing more than a chase against Sanja Damjanović, whose scientific and work achievements I cannot reach, much less cancel," Marković wrote on Twitter.
The government has filed a criminal complaint against former Minister of Science Sanja Damjanović, former secretary Smiljana Prelevic and NN persons employed in that department, because they allegedly damaged the state budget for several thousand euros during the organization of a two-day gathering of the International Institute for Sustainable Technologies of Southeast Europe (SEEIIST).
