If the DPS comes, the Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica will pass

Deputies of the "Black on White" coalition will vote for the Proposal for a resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica, which is enough for the opposition in the Assembly to adopt the Resolution condemning and prohibiting the public denial of the genocide that took place in July 1995.

All this under the condition that the DPS appears at the session when the voting takes place.

The URA representative also confirmed that he will vote regardless of the amendments Miloš Kontar for "Vijesti", while the other three members of the club "Crno na bijelo" announced this yesterday at the parliamentary session during the discussion of the document.

The resolution was initiated by a member of the BS Ervin Ibrahimovic who clarified during the session that in addition to condemning genocide, it would prohibit its public denial. July 11 would also be declared the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrible Crime, confirming Montenegro's determination to affirm the values ​​of peace and stability, the draft resolution reads.

It calls on the authorities to conduct investigations and prosecute those accused of genocide in Srebrenica, war crimes and crimes against humanity. The proposed resolution expresses sympathy for all the victims of the wars in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, as well as for their families, and calls on all neighboring countries to continue providing justice and long-term support to the survivors.

Ibrahimović expressed his willingness to refine the text through amendment action, which was first of all suggested to him by MPs of the Black and White Coalition.

In case the amendments proposed by the vice-president are adopted Branka Bosniak (Movement for Change), members of the Peace is Our Nation club Miodrag Lekić, Boris Bogdanović, Albin Čeman and Momo Koprivica, then they would also vote for the resolution.
