There's a lot of unfinished business at the Bar right now. Starting with the legalization of facilities, through the unresolved promenade, and thus the season in Sutomore, to the dog shelter and the poor work of social enterprises. Instead of talking about it, the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) tries to avoid these topics in every way, said the president of the Bar Municipality Assembly, Milena Božović.
Božović spoke out after she adjourned the session at the last session of the SO based on the reasoned request of the Biram Bar councilor club, after which, as she states, the reasons for the adjournment are distorted in the statements of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the media under their control.
"DPS must understand that we are not like their satellites who obediently nod their heads and raise their hands when voting. I choose Montenegro is a party of successful and accomplished people who have their own opinion and know how to make changes, at least for the better," she said. Bozovic.
She pointed out that non-corrupt politicians can ask questions without fear.
"Therefore, on behalf of the citizens, I expect from Branka Nikezić and the DPS before every other discussion an answer to the question: in whose name was the decision made to give 5.000 euros to Cetinje. Who signed it and which authority in the city approved it? "Why didn't we use that money more wisely and invest it in the faster completion of the promenade in Sutomore, or as a one-time aid to the socially disadvantaged," Božović asked.
She said that because of the above, her party and she, as president of the SO, expect an apology from Nikezić and the DPS.
"Respecting her age and more than 30 years in politics, I have to tell her that other times have come in Montenegro when thinking for oneself is desirable. We at BCG are always ready to constructively discuss and vote for all decisions that will contribute to the citizens of Bar having more work and living better," the announcement reads.
Unlike Nikezić, Božović claims that in the Biram Bar party they see all citizens as fellow citizens who deserve respect, and that as a representative of the politics she believes in and that this party represents, she organized iftar, went to mass and litia.
"Biram Bar has never divided its fellow citizens by political or religious affiliation as Nikezić does. I see myself and my party comrades as those who came from the people, live with the people and understand their problems. I do not see the position I currently hold as a place where I will stay for 30 or more years, it is already another opportunity for me to be closer to my neighbors and to help them as much as I can from that place. Their mouths are full of equality - until someone expresses their position that is different from theirs. BCG's policy is basically a policy of protecting the ordinary citizen and his economic and every other security. We do not deviate from that," concluded Božović.
