DPS: DF's attempt to justify the violation of rights by harmonizing the Law is humiliating citizens

The attempt of the Democratic Front (DF) to justify the flagrant violation of citizens' rights by allegedly harmonizing the Labor Law with the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance continues to humiliate citizens, but also the entire Montenegrin public, the Democratic Party of Socialists assessed.

Especially, as they state, bearing in mind that with forced retirement, the family income of disenfranchised citizens is drastically reduced, and they as citizens are humiliated.

DF announced yesterday that the amendments to the Act were not directed against any person, but that they were working exclusively on harmonizing the norms of these two Acts.

"In the transitional and final provisions of the Pension and Disability Insurance Act, the realization of the rights of the insured whose insurance tenure is calculated with an increased duration (benefited tenure) according to the principle of the most favorable status of employees is prescribed, which clearly indicates that it is only a matter of the right based on the benefited tenure, and not about coercion towards thousands of citizens who are exposed to the repression of the DF and the rest of the ruling majority," DPS said.

They add that the DF leaders are trying to hide their obvious political goal, which is the dismissal of the chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnić.

"Who is prosecuting them for serious crimes. The fact that thousands of citizens, intoxicated by the government, are sacrificed in fear of judgment and vengeful zeal, is obviously none of their business," they conclude.
