At last night's session of the Municipal Board, Bar Democrats elected Sergej Perić as spokesperson, and Milan Nešković as secretary.
This party announced that 18 new members were elected to the Municipal Board and that they are "high-quality, above all honest and professional people who recognized in Democratic Montenegro what has been present for a long time as the main potential of our party, the policy of reconciliation and turning towards solving the economic and social problems of our citizens"
This, as they state, was the topic of the presentation of their deputies, who, looking back from August 30 to today, pointed to the "thorny road" that a government must go through in order to justify the expectations of the citizens.
The president of the Club of Aldermen, Momčilo Leković, pointed out the importance of the work of the aldermen's club for Bar, which "even though it has three members, is by far the most active club in the Bar parliament".
According to the President of the Municipal Board, Dragan Tufegdžić, in the coming period, efforts will be made to strengthen the infrastructure of local boards in all parts of the Municipality.
"Every day, the Democrats of Bar are recording a significant increase in support, which entails greater responsibility, dedication and sacrifice. The Democrats of Bar are currently the strongest political entity in the city under Rumija," he pointed out.
"The conclusion and common position of the Bar Democrats is that, at any cost, the needs of the common man must be prioritized, and not current national or international issues that only divide citizens and divert attention from economic issues that mean life to every citizen. Without Revanchism, but with the determination of full responsibility for all the bad things that the previous government produced both in the state and in our city. The culprits for the destruction of Bar's economy must be brought to justice," stated the announcement of the Bar Democrats.
In addition to the municipal leadership and members, the session was attended by vice-presidents and MPs Momo Koprivica and Zdenka Popović.
