At yesterday's parliamentary session, the authorities in the Municipality of Bar refused to answer the question of whether the roundabout that was built and which will be inaugurated this evening near the building of the Municipality of Bar, which is part of the newly built overpass, is in accordance with the Detailed Urban Plan (DUP ) Amendments and additions to "Topolica – Bjeliši", it was announced today by the Club of Councilors of Democratic Montenegro Bar.
"Namely, as it can be concluded based on the excerpt from the aforementioned DUP, the roundabout at this intersection has not been drawn. We remind you that this is a project that arose directly from the election program of the "Bar for the 21st Century" coalition, that is, a project that was copied by took over by the municipal administration. However, it is obvious that in the rush to "borrow" the projects of our coalition, the Municipality of Bar failed to harmonize them with the planning documentation, which clearly once again violated the law and numerous regulations", the statement of the Club of Councilors of Democratic Montenegro Bar emphasizes .
They added that by planning and presenting this project, they do not question the need of citizens to solve traffic problems with roundabouts, but they emphasize that they would never build something if it is not in accordance with positive regulations and planning documents, because, as they say, the public interest and the interest of citizens must be equated with respect for the law and all positive regulations.
"We expect the competent secretariat to answer whether everything is in accordance with the planning documentation, so if the Secretariat for Spatial Planning of the Municipality of Bar has properly issued UT conditions, we ask them to publish them and remove further doubts and dilemmas," said the Club of Bar Democrats.
They also note that "the roundabout near the Municipality building is just one of several video projects that we presented to the citizens as part of our program during the campaign for local elections in May 2018".
"We emphasize that in those days, all our projects were ridiculed by the present-day constituents of the government in Bar, we were declared the "3D coalition", but today those same constituents would own our projects and officially open them. In any case, we are happy that our plans and projects are already achieve, and we are sure that after the May elections, after the change of the current government, it will experience a real expansion", concludes the statement of the Club of Councilors of Democratic Montenegro Bar.
