There are no indications that the session of the Ulcinj parliament, which was interrupted on June 2, could be resumed soon, although the councilors have some important points before them, such as the formation of a survey committee and the initiation of a parliamentary investigation into the non-realization of a loan from KfW Bank in the amount of 20 million euros.

And while the president of the SO Haji Suleimani continues to believe in the ruling coalition's agreement regarding the controversial points on the agenda, the president of the OO SDP and councilor Naser Resulbegović believes that narrow-party and individual interests overcame the general interest.

The continuation of the session was supposed to be held at the end of last month, but the councilors of the ruling coalition, as Sulejmani said, announced their absence due to private commitments, which is why it was postponed.

The session was interrupted on June 2nd because the leading members of the ruling coalition DPS and DP have different views on the proposed decision on the dismissal of the Council of Radio Television Ulcinj. According to the knowledge of "Vijesti", the DP wants the election of a new Council, while the DPS is wary of possible legal consequences. The DP recently told "Vijesta" that the RT UL Council will be formed strictly according to valid legal provisions and procedures.

Resulbegović, on the other hand, assessed that this is not the real reason for not continuing the session, but that the ruling coalition is troubled by the initiation of a parliamentary investigation.

He reminded Sulejmani that, in accordance with the provisions of the rules of procedure of the SO, he was obliged to convene the continuation of the interrupted session within seven days at the latest.

"The absence of an agreement on the continuation of the session clearly indicates that there are also some items on the agenda in which certain coalition subjects are particularly interested, but not because of the importance of those items for the general interest, but for the narrow party, and possibly also the personal interests of individuals," he said. Resulbegović to "Vijesta".

He stated that the SDP has previously indicated that the current majority functions as a motley orchestra and that everyone pulls to their side, not taking into account the interests of the city and citizens of Ulcinj.

"It is very possible that, among other things, one of the reasons that this session will never continue is the item on the agenda that was included in the proposal of the SDP councilor, and it concerns the initiation of a parliamentary investigation and the formation of an inquiry committee in order to determine responsibility for the non-implementation very significant capital investments that were supposed to be financed with loan funds from KFW bank", said Resulbegović.

Although they formally supported that initiative, he assessed, it is obvious "that the ruling majority does not agree with determining responsibility for multimillion-dollar damage and other consequences that were caused by sheer inaction, ignorance and unprofessional attitude of those who were obliged to implement these projects".

If the government had done its job, he added, citizens would have solved the issue of water supply and waste water removal and would not have been concerned with determining damages and liability.

"When the government has not already done that, and in the government, in the period from the signing of the agreement on the approval of the funds until today, everyone participated except the SDP, the minimum that citizens deserve is to receive precise information about who is responsible for the multimillion-dollar damage caused to them Resulbegović said.

As "Vijesti" previously announced, inspectors of the criminal police are also checking whether and how much the state was damaged in the deal with KfW bank, in which the Government secured a loan of 20 million euros to the Municipality of Ulcinj for the project of reconstruction of the water and sewage network.

The implementation of the project, for which the local government became famous by breaking the five-year grace period, has not yet started, but the first installment of the loan in the amount of 30 euros was due on April 900.
