The legacy of our ancestors is also our guide for life today, as well as for the values that we will call our own in the future, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, congratulating citizens in the homeland and around the world on National Day.
Many friends of Montenegro congratulated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the national holiday, as they announced.

EU Ambassador to Montenegro Oana Kristina Popa congratulated the citizens on National Day, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, congratulating the holiday, said that this year "we are celebrating 15 years of excellent bilateral relations, as well as the fourth anniversary of our country being a NATO ally. He added that the United States stands with countries committed to reform".
"A tolerant and inclusive Montenegro firmly established in the Euro-Atlantic society leads to a more prosperous and secure future for all its citizens," Blinken wrote in a congratulatory message.
In a letter to the head of Montenegrin diplomacy, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Anže Logar, expressed congratulations on the occasion of the Statehood Day, saying that the political dialogue and high level of understanding between the two countries clearly show the quality of bilateral cooperation.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani wished the Montenegrin people and Minister Đorđe Radulović a happy holiday in a video greeting.
"Dear friends, dear Đorđe, I have great pleasure in congratulating the Minister, your diplomatic network, as well as the citizens of Montenegro on their National Day," said Osmani.
He pointed out that the friendship between Montenegro and North Macedonia was confirmed by his visit to Podgorica in January.
"We greatly appreciate your visit to Ohrid, as well as your participation in the Prespa Dialogue Forum, as well as the first meeting of the B6 informal group, all of which are proof of our commitment to regional cooperation," Osmani concluded in a message on Twitter, saying that he expects the future to bring even more intense bilateral cooperation in order to fulfill the European goals that both countries strive for.
The Embassy of Turkey congratulated the holiday, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country Mevlut Čavušoglu conveyed expressions of friendship to his Montenegrin colleague Đorđe Radulović, emphasizing that his country highly values good relations with Montenegro, which represents an example of multiculturalism and multiconfessionalism in the region.
The Head of Czech Diplomacy, Jakub Kulhanek, congratulated Minister Radulović on the National Day, conveying his support for our European path and emphasizing that we have excellent bilateral relations with Montenegro.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria wished prosperity, stating that it supports our European perspective, and that the traditional friendship of the two countries, as well as membership in the Alliance, represent the best foundation for further cooperation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania also congratulated the National Day, stressing that the country is committed to cooperation and will continue to support the European agenda of Montenegro.
The Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Poland and Latvia published a congratulatory message on the occasion of National Day with photos of Boka Kotorska and St. Stefan, and the embassies of Slovakia and Algeria in Montenegro, as well as many other friends of our country around the world, also congratulated the holiday.
