National Day was congratulated by the highest world and European officials

Numerous world and European officials congratulated the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, on the occasion of July 13 - Montenegro's National Day - July 13.

As announced by the President's Cabinet, congratulations were sent by Emperor Naruhito of Japan, Governor General of the Commonwealth of Australia David Harley, King of Sweden Carl Gustaf, King Mohammed VI of Morocco, President of Greece Katerina Sakelaropoulou, President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmalen, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fatah Al Sisi, the President of the State of Palestine Mahmud Abbas, the President of Singapore Halimah Jakub, the President of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Savedra and the President of Kiribati Taneti Mamau.

"On the occasion of the Statehood Day of Montenegro, it is with great pleasure that I send to Your Excellency my hearty congratulations and sincere good wishes for your happiness and for the prosperity of the people of your country," the Emperor of Japan's congratulatory message states.

Congratulating, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, David Hurley, stated:

"We wish you all the best as we continue to fight the challenges caused by the Covid-19 virus. Allow me to convey my belief that the friendly relations between our two countries will continue to develop in the years to come."

In her congratulatory message, the President of Greece, Sakelaropoulou, reminds of the strong bonds of friendship, which are confirmed by the prices on every occasion.

"This year, for example, when my country celebrates the 200th anniversary of the beginning of the struggle for freedom, the Greek people followed your message with affection and gratitude, as well as the events organized on that occasion in Montenegro. The relations that unite our two nations reflect through constructive cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, as we stated in our recent telephone conversation. In addition, Greece, as the oldest country in our region, as a member of the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, strongly supports and promotes security and development in the entire region of Southeast Europe. Ever since 2003 and the Summit in Thessaloniki, the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union has been a strategic goal of Greece. My country will continue to work methodically to fulfill that goal, for the benefit of the stability of the region and the prosperity of our peoples. within the framework, Grčak continues to firmly and actively support the European path of Montenegro," Sakelaropula stated.

The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, expressed his satisfaction with the friendly relations between the two countries, and reiterated his true readiness for further improvement of joint cooperation in the best interest of the two friendly peoples.

The President of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, pointed out that he highly values ​​the friendly relations and mutual respect of the two countries, which are continuously developing, and expressed his belief that the existing ties of friendship and good cooperation will be further improved in the years ahead for the benefit of the two peoples.
