The vice-president of the Citizens' Movement URA, Filip Adžić, is the last person who should advertise on behalf of the citizens of Cetinje, it was announced today from the Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) in the capital.
Yesterday, on the occasion of the announced enthronement of Metropolitan Joaniki of Montenegrin Littoral, Adžić said, among other things, that it is neither wise nor responsible to insist that the festivities take place in Cetinje.
"Someone who is not sufficiently familiar with the political events in Montenegro for the past year, reading yesterday's statement by Filip Adžić, would think that he is a passionate fighter for the interests of our capital and the state of Montenegro. However, if our fellow citizen has at least an ounce of shame, he would never would announce about a topic that is currently troubling the Montenegrin public, since he already had the opportunity to defend the dignity of the state using only and exclusively his voice in the parliament," the press release of DPS Prijestonica points out.
They added that "Adžić, who is now playing the self-proclaimed hero of Cetinje, literally ran away from the parliamentary bench to a position in the government, leaving the fate of the country in the hands of a more suitable party cadre from URA, ready to shamelessly nod his head".
"By missing the chance to raise his hand against the Law on Freedom of Religion, which protects the interests of only one religious community, Filip Adžić sent the citizens a clear message about how much he cares about Montenegro and everything Montenegrin. So Filip Adžić's cries have no weight, because once shamelessly left Montenegro to those who aspired against it. Then he discredited himself as a citizen of Cetinje, and if he is really sincere in what he said, let him appear on the 4th or 5th of September with the citizens of Cetinje and, as a citizen of Cetinje, raise his voice against the enthronement a man who annuls Montenegrins as a nation and the CPC as their church," said DPS Prijestonica.
