Deputy of Democratic Montenegro Vladimir Martinović said that "no one is stronger than the state" and said that the state, which is a member of NATO and a candidate for joining the EU, "cannot be threatened by criminals and those who ravaged it".
"Peace and religious freedom are the only highway and the greatest value of proud Montenegro. By the way, I remind you that no one is stronger than the state, let alone characters like the performer (Veselin) Veljović and the infamous (Branislav) Mićunović, who wish for unrest because they are similar to them used to beating the people of Montenegro," Martinović wrote on Twitter.
The news announced today that the Police Directorate informed the Government that there is a real danger that some of the officers of that institution will obey the "command" of the recent chief Veselin Veljović and refuse certain orders of the elders on the day of the enthronement of Joaniki as Metropolitan of the Montenegrin Littoral, scheduled for September 5 in Cetinje.
Reacting to the text, the Police Directorate stated that there is no fear that their officers will act on the orders of any person outside the Police Directorate.
