Democratic Montenegro MP Vladimir Martinović called on citizens to respond to the "new dangerous attempt to extremize circumstances" with contempt, wisely and with dignity.
On Twitter, Martinović commented on the statements of the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, who, among other things, said that he hopes that he "will not be in a situation where I myself will be in Cetinje on September 5."
"After the MCP wisely gave up the Parliament and the gathering of the believing people in Cetinje, after Mr. Đukanović himself voted for the conclusions of the Council for Defense and Security, which calls for peace, tolerance, lowering of tensions, respect for human rights and religious freedom, today's statement of the President of the State, in many respects contrary to the above, clearly proves that the various events and statements of the previous weeks, as well as Mr. Veljović's statements, were not the result of coincidence, but clearly coordinated actions. preserving the peace, stability and safety of every citizen at every step," Martinović wrote on Twitter.
The enthronement of Metropolitan Joaniki of Montenegrin Rimor is planned for September 5 in Cetinje.
