The candidate for councilor of Democratic Montenegro in Cetinje, Danilo Mirković, was handed a termination notice by the director of the company where he was employed, announced today Ivana Vujović, the holder of the list of Democrats in the elections in the capital, which will be held on November 26.
As announced by Democratic Montenegro, today they held a press conference where Vujović introduced the public to a new case of classic political persecution.
In the presence of Mirković, as well as the president of the Committee of the Democrats of the Capital Cetinje, Danilo Mrvaljević, Vujović pointed out that the fact that Mirković is on the electoral list of the Democrats was an insurmountable obstacle for the director of the local utility company and an obvious hindrance that, like every previous one, and extend the employment contract this time.
"It is obvious that all this is part of a well-planned action and part of the pre-election strategy of the Democratic Party of Socialists, devised in dark basements and even darker minds. There is so much panic, fear and losing fever in the ranks of the DPS that they no longer choose funds. They do not strike with these moves, in a terribly perfidious and equally shameful way, not only on the free will and freedom of political choice of one man, but also on the existence of his family," Vujović pointed out.
She added that there was tremendous pressure on their candidates for councilors before.
"Based on reliable information and indications that something similar could happen, we informed the public through our announcement on November 1. The very next day, on November 2, Dr. Albin Ćeman disclosed at a press conference that Ivani Ivezić, 4th on the list Democrat for Petnjica, it was announced that her employment has ended, i.e. that her work contract at the kindergarten "Đina Vrbica" in Podgorica has not been extended. At the same press conference, Štjefan Camaj, the leader of the list of Democrats in Tuzi, pointed out that he was aware that incredible pressures, blackmail, threats and attempts to buy our candidates for councilors are being made. The offer to Ersin Rastoder, a councilor candidate in Petnjica, by the local DPS officials to join the ranks of that criminal organization, and that, in return, he will receive And then, one would say, out of nowhere, the alleged sobering up of some of our and SDP candidates for councilors on the list in Tuzi started, but in fact - the result of being subjected to the terrible torture they are exposed to at work and in their communities. The Supreme State Prosecutor's Office was informed about all this, through criminal reports and open letters. But nothing has been done yet, at least as far as we know. And then it's no wonder that an organized criminal group continues with its criminal enterprise," Vujović said.
She stated that the DPS organized crime group has apparently opened a hunt for Democratic alderman candidates.
"How else to explain the second decision about the termination of the employment relationship. Again we were not answered, so let's ask: what did Daliborka Pejović mean when she announced that we would not be able to complete the campaign? What monstrosities have they prepared? Do they think they are physically settling accounts with us? Did they intend to edit the most monstrous video and photographic content in order to try to discredit our officials? Remember, there is no such force, such pressure and such untruth that can stop the people of Montenegro on the way to the removal of the last dictatorial regime in Europe," Vujović said
The President of the Committee of Democrats of the Capital City, Vladimir Čađenović, said that in view of the new case of political persecution to which Democratic candidates for councilors are exposed in the four municipalities where elections are held on November 26, the Club of Democratic Councilors in the Assembly of the Capital City made a decision to boycott work Parliament of the Capital City until the prosecutor's office acts on their criminal charges related to the criminal acts committed against their members, officials and candidates for councilors, all with the aim of harming the Democrats.
"If these monstrosities continue, the democrats will know how to respond with all the democratic means at our disposal," said Čađenović.
"By doing this, you have only made people despise you even more, they are by no means afraid of you. Believe me, even those who may never, for who knows what reasons, wanted to trust us with their voice, are now approaching us and saying they know where the truth is and justice when we stand against the symbol for untruth and injustice," concluded Vujović.
