The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Đorđe Radulović, sent a telegram of condolence to the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergey Lavrov, on the tragic death of the Minister for Emergency Situations of Russia, Yevgeny Zinichev.
Zinichev died in the line of duty while saving the life of one person during interdepartmental exercises in the Russian city of Norilsk.
"We deeply regret the tragic death of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Jevgeni Ziničev, who selflessly gave his life, saving another man's life," said Radulović.
According to him, this heroic feat and noble act is a confirmation of the greatest values and virtues of humanity, which are humanity, solidarity and sacrifice.
"In these difficult moments of sadness in your country, I express my sincere condolences to you, the Government of Russia and the family of Minister Ziničev", said Radulović.
