The Cabinet of the Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić reacted to the statements of the President of the Republic Milo Đukanović in an interview with the Croatian Jutarnji list.
They said that Đukanović is trying to "obfuscate" the intention to prevent Montenegro on the path of reconciliation and progress by changing theses and manipulations.
"Still, the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, who announces new elections, is partly right. Since the parliamentary procedure for his dismissal is ongoing due to exceeding his jurisdiction and violating the principle of secularity, the presidential elections are the only ones that are certain at this moment. With a new attempt replacement of theses and manipulation, the leader of the opposition DPS tries to homogenize those gullible from the environment, of which there are fewer and fewer. destructive and insane actions, which firmly position him as a disruptive factor," the Prime Minister's office said in a response.
They called Đukanović "the fugitive leader of the failed coup" in Cetinje, and told him that he must be aware that his policy, which, they believe, is only based on finding foreign and domestic "traitors", from Croatian, Montenegrin, Albanian, and now Serbian , "cannot obscure his personal intention to prevent Montenegro from the path of reconciliation, economic progress, liberation of captive institutions and integration into the European Union."
"Djukanović, with his prophetic speech at the beginning of the nineties, while he was fighting for peace and persecuting the supporters of independent Montenegro, best described his current political activities. He then called what he advocates today as sick hallucinations, in which he was until recently, he found a way to stay in power and divert public and political attention from himself. It is very difficult to seriously argue with Đukanović's views, because they are just as well-founded as the statement that there will be no enthronement in Cetinje," the Cabinet's response states. of the Prime Minister.
