The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (ASK) found that the President of the Municipality of Kotor, Vladimir Jokić, violated the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, because he did not declare the 600 euros he received from Democratic Montenegro in his property record.
In the period to which the payment refers, Jokić was a member of the Democrats in the Kotor Municipality Assembly. He was elected as the President of the Municipality on February 21 of this year.
In the explanation submitted to the Agency, Jokić said that by mistake he failed to enter the income of 600 euros in the annual report.
He pointed out that the aforementioned income was paid to him from the account of Democratic Montenegro, in accordance with the contract on the work, and that the payment was made on December 29, 2016.
"He also added that the Greek thing happened due to the fact that it was a one-time payment," it is stated.
The agency established that the incomplete report on income for the past year was submitted by the president of the Board of Directors of the Cultural Center Bar, Vladimir Domazetović. He did not report, as stated in the decision, 11.385 euros from the University of Montenegro, but also 600 euros that his wife Irena Martinović received from the same University.
Domazetović said that he did not report the income from UCG due to the "unclarity of the form".
