The Citizens' Initiative (GI) "21 May" announced today that the Council of that initiative "discussed the upcoming elections and adopted decisions related to the formation of the list and participation in the elections".
It was announced from that GI that the first session of the GI Council "May 21" since its election in March of this year was held today.
The press release added that the council session was chaired by Council president Miodrag Živković, vice-presidents Nada Bukilić and Branko Lukovac, and executive coordinator of the initiative Ljubomir Filipović.
It is stated that "after the analysis of the current political situation presented by Miodrag Živković and program coordinator of the initiative Rade Bojović, Ljubomir Filipović spoke about the activities and plans of the initiative".
The announcement states that "Marko Špadijer emphasized the need for GI "21. Maj" must be a more vocal actor on the social scene, and Aleksandar Saša Zeković stressed the need to encourage social activism".
"Janko Ljumović underlined the importance of proactive action and complementing criticism of the government with concrete alternatives when it comes to creating public policies. Council member Dragan Maslovar spoke about concrete projects that would significantly improve environmental protection policies, while Stefan Aleksić pointed out how late this government is with implementation of digital policy, as well as the promotion of startup entrepreneurship. Milorad Pustahija and Jadranka Rabrenović commented on the current political situation from their point of view, while Nikola Belada emphasized the importance of legal aid and legal protection of discriminated citizens. Vladimir Šibalić and doctor Igor Mićunović spoke about the importance of international cooperation ", the announcement reads.
The GI "21. Maj" announced that Nenad Stevović and Muamer Kalić, as well as the diaspora coordinator Izudin Gušmirović, spoke about the situation in the diaspora.
