At the final convention of the Coalition "DF-SNP-For the city we love" in Bar, the list holder Dejan Đurović, M.Sc., said this evening that this coalition offered the citizens only what was realistic and achievable in the campaign, and called on the people of Bar to participate in the largest number of go to the polls on Sunday. At the meeting in the large hall of the SO Bar, he said that he constantly invites the list holder of the largest party in power (Dušan Raičević, DPS) to a TV confrontation about the future of the city, "and he constantly avoids it".
"We want Bar to be a modern European city, and its development must start from the center, to arrange the confluence of the Rena and Željeznica into the sea. We have a location for a five-star hotel, we have also talked with an interested investor who wants to build it, but, fair and transparent. I promise that as a new city government, we will negotiate with all big investors in front of TV cameras, without scenes and percentages," said Đurović.
He stated that Sutomore deserves a fundamental change - "that the racketeering company Morsko dobro never takes bribes there again", stating that a "fair referendum" should be held as to whether the residents are for the Municipality of Sutomore. For Čanj, the plan is legalization and urbanization, for Virpazar the arrangement of a normal approach, in order to stop traffic accidents, "we will talk about the pier at Virpazar when the National Park stops taking money to Podgorica and starts investing it in Crmnica".
"We ran an affirmative campaign, directly contacted fellow citizens, went to their doors and never told anyone "vote for us", we only said - go to the polls. We advocate not paying for the legalization of houses for basic housing, but for the safety of the city and of our children, we cover the city and especially schoolyards with video surveillance, while school policemen will be paid from the Bar budget. Every year, the five best Bar students will be employed in the municipality," added Đurović.
Councilor candidate, president of SNP Bar Vasilije Lalošević, called to "light a candle and dispel the darkness" in this city "where we saw those who built bridges even where there are no rivers". Pointing out that the coalition will make the Municipality of Bar a "just and truthful institution", he said that the coalition promised only what it could fulfill.
"I invite all Barans to vote and take the fate of the city into their own hands, abstainers are the strongest army of the DPS, but do not vote for those who want to join the coalition with the DPS," said councilor candidate Maja Vukićević, president of the Bar DNP.
Councilor candidate and vice-president of OO PZP Bar Aleksandar Lekić said that Bar will follow the example of Budva and Kotor, "and no one will stand in the way of that, not even those who chose Bar and chose personal ambitions". Bar NSD president Bogić Beli Mitrović said that those "who run for one or two mandates in the elections to trade" should immediately bypass the coalition, "let them go directly to the DPS to trade":
"In all aspects, Bar has a special place. The proposed election program of the coalition is realistic, nothing is promised that cannot be fulfilled, and that is fair. This coalition is natural and does not depend on any embassy, we are oriented towards different, permanent values , to our history, tradition, culture, Cyrillic, Saint Sava and the Serbian language," said NSD vice-president Dr. Strahinja Bulajić.
The Vice President of the PZP, Koča Pavlović, invited the visitors to the convention to applaud Milan Knežević, "the only political prisoner in the country", stressing that in these local elections it is important "to be as strong as possible, to win as much as possible", but, "more important than that is our unity".
"The denouement is coming. Under the influence of the embassies, everyone will line up on one of the opposing sides in the DPS, and our natural coalition will take power after the imminent collapse of the DPS," said Pavlović.
SNP Presidency member Andrija Ćetković said that the election result of the coalition in Bar will "surprise our political opponents", and the president of Budva SO Đorđe Vujović said that "the trend started in Herceg Novi, Budva, Kotor and Plužine" will be continued in Bar.
