Recent incidents in Montenegro and on the border between Serbia and Kosovo are a reason for serious concern, said Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić Radman.
On the eve of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg, where the Western Balkans will be discussed under the item "current issues", he announced that the region will be a detailed topic of the next meeting in November.
"Recent incidents in Montenegro and on the border of Serbia and Kosovo are a reason for serious concern. The situation in the region of Southeast Europe, in the Western Balkans is worsening and we have to discuss it and show our response in detail at the next meeting in November," he said. Radman, as reported by the TVCG correspondent from Brussels.
Radman, as reported by the RTCG portal, also expressed his concern about the recent political events in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially that, as he says, instead of reaching a crucial consensus on electoral reforms, "we see the escalation of political struggle and the paralysis of institutions."
Radman also emphasizes the importance of the equality of the three constituent nations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as the key to the functionality, stability and EU future of the country.
