Srzentić from Tuesday on an official visit to Slovenia

The Minister of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media, Tamara Srzentić, will lead the Montenegrin delegation, which will pay an official visit to Ljubljana from Tuesday to Thursday.

As announced by the Ministry, the visit will be an opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences regarding the priority activities of the two countries, especially in the field of digitization and public administration reform.

Ambassador of Slovenia in Montenegro, Gregor Presker, invited Srzentić to visit Slovenia and talk with partners in the Government.

Bearing in mind the good cooperation with the relevant institutions of the Government of Slovenia, Srzentić will meet with Minister of Public Administration Boštjan Koritnik, Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek, Minister of Culture Vasko Simoniti, and Minister without portfolio in charge of digital transformation Mark Boris Andrijanić.

Also, bearing in mind the importance of the Chamber of Commerce and the Digital Coalition in Slovenia, Srzentić will meet with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Slovenia, Nenad Šutanovec, and the President of the Board of Directors of the Slovenian Digital Coalition, Igor Zork.

In addition, Srzentić will have meetings with Montenegrin students and the honorary consul of Montenegro in Slovenia, Voj Kovac.

The Ministry of Public Administration, Digital Society and Media is in the process of drafting a series of strategic documents, primarily the Public Administration Reform Strategy, the Digital Transformation Strategy, the Strategy for Cooperation with NGOs, the Information Security Strategy, as well as a series of legal acts under its jurisdiction.

"The planned meetings will be an opportunity to exchange opinions regarding the priority activities of the two countries, the improvement of bilateral cooperation in the aforementioned departments, but also an opportunity to discuss the subject of European integration in the areas of public administration reform and digitization," the announcement states.

The topic of media and media literacy, public service management, but also plans for digital transformation and management of digital transformation over time and the development of eServices will be discussed, where the experience of Slovenia will be extremely useful.
