Vladimir Božović, president of the Municipal Committee (OO) of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Bar announced today that this weekend at the intersection of Novi boulevard and IV Crnogorska Brigade street, at the turn for Voli and Luka Bar, a serious accident occurred, fortunately without human casualties.
"This is one of the many accidents that happen very often at this intersection, much more often than at all other intersections in our city. We therefore suggest the leadership of the Municipality of Bar to take the necessary actions as soon as possible, to install light signaling - a traffic light - at this intersection. or we propose the construction of a roundabout, depending on what the necessary analyzes and studies would define as the optimal solution," Božović pointed out.
He added that the current regulation of traffic at that intersection is clearly inappropriate, which, he says, causes problems for all road users, both the citizens of Bar and all others who pass through this intersection.
"By solving this problem, the number of traffic accidents would be reduced, and thus great material damage, and possible and more serious consequences for people's lives would be avoided. SDP Bar, as before, will continue to propose solutions that are in the interest of our citizens," he concluded. Bozovic.
