The US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Gabriel Escobar, met today with the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović.
Escobar, as stated by the US Embassy in Montenegro on Twitter, emphasized the United States' concern about "entrenched corruption in the country" and encouraged Montenegro to continue playing a constructive role in solving regional challenges.
It is Escobar's first visit to Montenegro as a special envoy for the Western Balkans.
