After the project "Apartments and jobs for young people", which was well received by all the citizens of Prijestonica, today we present a very important project from our Program for Cetinje, which, if we have the opportunity to exercise power after December 5, we will implement in the following period : Renovation of parks, they said from the Cetinje board of Democratic Montenegro.
As they state, due to decades of carelessness by the local administration, Njegos Park and "July 13" are in a catastrophic state - completely ruined, without adequate furniture, without fences, unorganized and neglected greenery, practically unusable.
"For the past 10 years, we have received only a few tens of meters of fence and three gates of Njegošev Park from the renovation of the parks. Within the very carefully, seriously and thoroughly prepared Program of the Democrats for the Capital, through detailed analysis, professional consultations and upgrading of the old park renovation project, which the local administration was not capable of realizing for a whole decade, we prepared a project of comprehensive arrangement and complete equipping of both Cetinje parks", they said.
They are planning to build a fence, greening and arranging gardens in Njegošev Park; rehabilitation and arrangement of trails; renovation and arrangement of the existing tennis court; trim the track; reconstruction of existing sculptures; reconstruction of the well; painting workshop, where students of the Faculty of Fine Arts will be engaged during the tourist season.
In the project for the rehabilitation of the "13th of July" park, greening, rehabilitation and arrangement of paths, a basketball court, a chess court, a bocce court, - a gloriette where concerts of students of the Music Academy will be held, are planned; a space that will be a small theater stage during the summer, and an ice rink for the youngest in the winter.
"After the realization of this project, we will hire park guards who will take care of the furniture," the Cetinje Democrats conclude.
