Social Democrat official and Plav municipality president Nihad Canović called on the executive director of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) Nikola Rovčanin to react in accordance with his powers regarding the hate speech by the director of Hydroelectric Power Plant Piva Radomir Radonjić.
Canović adds that the Prosecutor's Office "as is known, has already taken measures within its jurisdiction".
"Someone who calls Cetinje an "Ustasha municipality", Montenegro an "Ustasha state", says that the head of the Islamic Community is "Allah's Montenegrin", and insults women, and he has been doing all this openly and without sanction for some time, EPCG as well as all those in charge must react adequately," his announcement states.
Canović also believes that the minimum percentage of the salary for spreading hatred is not an adequate sanction, and that only formal sanctioning of this case gives a wind at the back of everyone who incites hatred, regardless of which political option they belong to.
