Unexploited tourist potentials and inadequate utilization of natural resources have led to a very modest and unsatisfactory tourist offer in Mojkovac, said Democratic Montenegro official Ljiljana Đukić.
She stated in the statement that "on December 5, the irresponsible attitude towards the municipality of Mojkovac, Mojkovčani and Mojkovčan women will come to an end".
"The lack of a vision and strategy for the development of tourism has resulted in numerous popular tourist branches remaining outside the overall tourist offer in Mojkovac. In addition to adventure tourism, gastronomic tourism, event tourism and ecotourism have been neglected. The Democrats will actively work on the improvement of all tourist branches, which would promote Mojkovac to the best way. Through strategic promotion and high-quality placement of domestic products of the local population on the market, we will create an authentic and rich offer, thereby affirming our local producers," said Đukić.
She added that in order to promote Mojkovac as a city of sports, she will use the infrastructure potential, a clean and healthy environment, and enable athletes to make Mojkovac the place where the greatest sports results will be achieved.
"By extending and enriching traditional manifestations intended for tourists, we will complete the tourist offer and encourage gastro tourism. We will also promote the improvement of the conditions for the development of adventure tourism, which should be the backbone of the development of tourism in Mojkovac. Accordingly, we will provide administrative and marketing support to all existing sports recreational clubs and societies, as well as restaurateurs. We will create administrative and material prerequisites for the efficient registration, categorization and promotion of accommodation facilities. We will work on strengthening activities on the affirmation and promotion of specific tourist products through fair performances, "online" promotions, as well as and printed and video promotional material," the statement said.
Đukić also pointed out that the Democrats will "promote the beauty of Mojkovac in the right and efficient way" through the improvement of tourist content.
"We will make every tourist who comes to our city want to come back again, because Mojkovac deserves it," Đukić concluded.
