The holder of the list of Democrats for the local elections in Cetinje, Danilo Mrvaljević, called on the citizens of Prijestonica to support that list and, as he said, return Cetinje to the place where it belongs by all means.
"Before us is a decision that we make once every four years, so it is important that we decide wisely and with a clear conscience," says Mrvaljević.
In the previous four years, as he says, they worked a lot.
"We spared no expense, we were in constant contact with you, we visited those who live in rural areas every year, several times, we looked for solutions to their problems, we opened every question from our Program and we fought to save every euro in the Cetinje coffers. Wrote hundreds of lawsuits and appeals to mothers, drafted hundreds of other acts as part of free legal aid to citizens, fought for compensation for newborns in the Cetinje parliament, initiated compensation for unemployed mothers, initiated free textbooks," says Mrvaljević.
As he states, they chose to live broadcast the sessions of the local parliament with the aim of full transparency and information of those for whom they are there.
"We fought for greater allocations for the Red Cross, for the improvement of the tourist offer, achieved the best cooperation with NGOs, accepted all their initiatives and responded to all their calls, continuously maintained communication with citizens - we did not refuse any of your requests, on any basis. They processed every problem and always offered concrete solutions, they asked for 222 euros for everyone at the labor office in the first attack of the corona, during the lockdown, and after the rejection of the proposal by the DPS, they left the Working Group. We protected workers and pensioners, fought for the rights of employees of RTV Cetinje, initiated the Demographic Development Strategy, repeatedly pointed out and offered solutions to the problem of Ponor, water supply, huge unemployment rates, proposed concrete activities for a significant increase in the income of Prijestonica", said Mrvaljević.
At the state level, the Democrats, as he states, drafted and submitted the Mother's Compensation Act to the procedure.
"We increased the minimum wages and old-age allowances, we introduced child allowances, which have already started to be paid for children up to six years of age, and from January 1, we have already submitted to the procedure for amending the law - that the allowance be paid for all children up to 18 .years of life! We were the only ones thinking of pensioners - we are raising the minimum pension to 200 euros! We worked hard, we worked seriously and with dedication, exclusively for the benefit of the city and its citizens. After these four years, we can look everyone in the eye, because we have kept our word," said Mrvaljević.
That is why, as he states, they expect the support of all the citizens of Cetinje, to jointly build the Capital.
"Let's replace those who have been destroying it for three decades, those who spread hatred and divisions, while Cetinje is disappearing before our eyes. Let's return the capital to the place where it belongs by all means - at the head of our only homeland, Montenegro", said Mrvaljević and added that this time the choice is very easy.
"Either you are with those who have ruined Cetinje for the last 30 years and those who may be planning to turn into a sloop for saving the DPS after the elections, or you are with us. We tied our lives to this city, we gave ourselves to Cetinje, and we will give ourselves a thousand more times, as long as it takes for our only city. That's why on December 5, Montenegrin, and world! That's why our Cetinje! That's why number 7! Let's go together to victory! Long live free Cetinje! Long live Mother Montenegro!" Mrvaljević concluded.
