The government is building responsible and professional diplomacy, in the service of all citizens of Montenegro, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs Đorđe Radulović.
On the occasion of the first anniversary of the work of the Government, he presented the most significant successes of Montenegrin diplomacy in the past year.
Radulović stated that the European Commission praised Montenegro's foreign policy in its progress report.
"This is a strong signal of our commitment. Our initiative to have the Western Balkans more represented on the agenda of the Alliance was supported by all members. We are building responsible and professional diplomacy in the service of all citizens," said Radulović.
According to him, this is an idea that is taking concrete shape with the appointment of the ambassador to Italy and the Mission to the European Union.
"Montenegro is becoming a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council, we are also taking over the presidency of the Cooperation Process in Southeast Europe," Radulović stated in a video published on the Twitter account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This, he said, is a confirmation of the constructive role that Montenegro plays in the region and the greater visibility of the country on the international level.
According to Radulović, the first economic dialogue with the United States represents a historic success of Montenegrin diplomacy.
He announced that a new edition of the document on business and investment opportunities will follow soon.
"During the previous year, Montenegrin diplomacy actively participated in providing vaccines for all our citizens," said Radulović.
