With amendments, Konatar requests more money for the IT industry and for the construction of a gymnasium in the elementary school "Lovćenski partisanski odred"

The vice-president of the URA and the member of that party in the Parliament of Montenegro, Miloš Konatar, will ask for an amdman increase in the amount for the "Innovations and technological development" sub-programme within the budget for 2022 from the planned 255.484 euros to 510.964 euros.

Konatar will also request 300.000 euros for the construction of a gymnasium within the "Lovćenski partisan detachment" primary school in Cetinje.

The URE reminded that it was previously announced that Konatar would request an additional 500.000 euros for the gymnasium in Mrkojevići in Bar.

"The IT sector, as the fastest growing industry in Montenegro, but also as an industry that accounts for about 10 percent of Montenegrin exports, represents a great capacity for the further development of our country. That is why we are proposing this amendment as a measure to encourage further development and a measure to encourage young people to start their own businesses and continue to create in our country", says Konatar's explanation.

Konatar points out that they believe that the allocated amount, although higher than the previous year, is not enough because it does not cover full capacities and possibilities.

"As a small community, we must learn to diversify our investments and recognize the IT sector as the future of our further development. By increasing funds, we are opening the door to many who until now have not been able to present their ideas but also to actively develop them, increasing the chance for the success of new generations who will lead this country into a prosperous future," he states in his explanation.

With the amendments, Konatar also requests funds in the amount of 300.000 euros for the Elementary School "Hunting Partisan Detachment" in Cetinje for the construction of a gymnasium.

"Bearing in mind that on November 15, 2018, the "Memorandum on cooperation in the field of improving school infrastructure in the territory of the Capital of Cetinje" was signed, which included the construction of this hall as one of the priorities, the goal of this amendment is that the children who attend this school finally get an adequate and functional facility because, despite the fact that it does not have a sports hall, the Primary School "Lovcen Partisan Detachment" was declared the school with the best sports results at the level of Montenegro, thanks to the enthusiasm of the physical education teachers", the explanation of the amendment states.
