The Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) managed to retain an absolute majority in yesterday's repeated voting in the Petnjik local community of Radmanci in the local elections, despite obvious electoral engineering, the party announced today.
"Support for the list 'Proud Petnjica! Proud Montenegro!' was increased by 19 votes, despite the fact that certain political actors did not choose funds in order to change the electoral will of the citizens of our municipality", announced the Petnjik DPS committee.
According to them, the actors of "a kind of electoral engineering" were those parties whose members "swear to be 'honest' and who constantly talk about political corruption".
"How else to explain the cheating and casting of votes by which our political competition reached yesterday's result and the data that the Democrats won 5 votes in this polling station on December 7, that 18 days later they won 0, and that the SNP increased its electorate," added the DPS.
Above all, as they said, the most important thing is that civil, secular and anti-fascist Montenegro is defended in Petnjica.
"Therefore, we hope that our good result in Petnjica will be a strong message to all citizens of Montenegro, that there is no Montenegro without civil Montenegro, and there is no civil Montenegro without DPS", concluded the Petnjica board of DPS.
