The President of Prava Montenegro, Marko Milačić, announced today that the party is surprised by the proposal of the Democratic Front (DF) on the so-called "technical government", "if we keep in mind that there has not yet been a vote on the overthrow of the Government elected on the basis of the August 30 election".
"For Prava Montenegro, but also for the citizens, there is a sign of equality between overthrowing the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić together with the DPS and voting for a new Government with the votes of a new majority. Given that the DF is unabashedly overthrowing the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić, that it acts together with the SNP , that he supports the Memorandum and that he is already publicly holding discussions with Dritan Abazović about the model of support and entry into the technical government, which can only be achieved by demolishing the existing one with the DPS, without any condition of such a government returning the mandate to the citizens and holding new elections, we openly doubt that it's about a conscious political agreement whose goal is to destroy the electoral will of the citizens," Milačić pointed out.
He added that the technical government proposed by the DF does not envisage calling elections, but running away from elections.
"Under all normal circumstances, a technical government serves only to prepare for elections, and without a shortening of the mandate of the Assembly, there is no technical government, but different models of new governments with a new majority, they were called technical or minority ones. Given that at this moment there was no shortening of the mandate of the Assembly , and it is also uncertain whether it will come, the technical government proposed by the DF is another name for the minority government of the SNP. In other words, that government assumes the demolition of the current one, the dismissal of the ministers and the prime minister, the destabilization of the Europe now projects and a new majority of 41," he said is Milacic.
He also said that Prava Montenegro sees the calling of parliamentary elections as the only honorable way out of this political crisis and destabilization, which, as Milacic adds, "the DPS is most afraid of, but also the signatories and defenders of the Memorandum who are desperately seeking the formation of a government that will be helped by Milo Đukanović, and which will be imposed without an election, by changing the current majority of 41, it was called the minority or technical one".
