The minority peoples in Montenegro are strongly on the course of European and Euro-Atlantic values, said the president of the Bosniak Party, Ervin Ibrahimović.
He spoke with the French ambassador to Montenegro, Christian Timonier, about the current political situation, as well as the relations between Montenegro and France.
Ibrahimović congratulated Timonije on France's presidency of the Council of the European Union.
"I am sure that the next six months will be a strong flywheel in terms of accelerating our integration path," said Ibrahimović.
He pointed out that the minority peoples in Montenegro are strongly on the course of European and Euro-Atlantic values.
"We are happy that friendly France also strongly supports Montenegro's European path," Ibrahimović pointed out.
Timonije, as reported, expressed the expectation that during the French presidency of the Council of the EU, progress will be made in Montenegro on the way to the Union.
He said that the status of minority organizations and respect for the rights of minority peoples is extremely important.
