Konjević: Elections are the cleanest solution
Konjević told journalists that no one had discussed the minority government more seriously with the opposition. "As far as I know (Dritan) Abazović did not hold talks with the opposition about a minority government. I don't know why we are doing everything if a majority needs to be formed within the existing majority. We think that the solution to this crisis should be through the cleanest model - elections," Konjević said.
He added that he will discuss other options after the fall of the government. "If there is a political will to form a government, which would have a transitional period, but that should happen after the fall of this government".
When asked how the SDP will express itself about the initiatives in the Assembly, he replied that "it will not spoil the idyll between Abazović and Zdravko Krivokapić".
He expressed the expectation that if the "old parliamentary council" loses its majority, it will hand over power to whoever has the majority in parliament.
