Gutić: Krivokapić in a state of helplessness, despair and panic, thought he could do anything

The behavior of outgoing Prime Minister Zdravko Krivokapić on the day when the parliament voted no confidence in the Government he led reflects the state of impotence, despair and panic in which he is today, said Damir Gutić, vice-president of the Bosniak Party (BS).

He said this after information that Krivokapić had scheduled a meeting where, without the knowledge of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), he included on the agenda the Proposal for a Decision on amending the decision on the criteria for establishing the grounds for acquiring Montenegrin citizenship by admission.

"The government must take care not to go beyond the constitutional powers. The government and the prime minister will be replaced tonight and it is completely irresponsible for them to make decisions tonight that there was no social consensus in the previous period," said Gutić.

He said that making such big decisions without the knowledge of the minister whose responsibility it is, shows that the prime minister thinks he can do anything.

"Of course it can't, the rule of law implies respect for the procedures for voting on Decisions, and every Decision will be reviewed by the new Government. Such chaotic moves require that the opening of a dialogue and the formation of a new Government be started immediately, because the outgoing Prime Minister should not be left with any possibility to disrupt the legal order of the country with "ad hoc" Decisions", said Gutić.
