Milačić: We call on the membership of the SNP to prevent the agreed betrayal by the top of their party

From Prava Montenegro, they called on the members of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) to prevent "an agreed betrayal by the top of their party because this is no longer an internal party issue of the SNP, but a question of defending the electoral will of the citizens in which the entire free people of Montenegro participated."

The president of that party, Marko Milačić, called on the members of the SNP to join them in the protests "against the termination of the electoral will and for the return of mandates, seats and functions to this people, who alone deserved it with their struggle and thirty years of perseverance."

"While the members of the SNP anxiously and anxiously await the session of the Main Board, the top of that party, after the introduction of the Memorandum and the creeping treason, in the orchestrated voting "for", "against", "abstained" and running away from the vote in order to overthrow the Government, overthrow of the President of the Assembly, overthrowing the parliamentary majority, leads them to the treacherous finale of entering a minority government and the chair of the President of the Assembly, a betrayal that the entire history of political corruption in Montenegro does not remember," Milačić said in a statement.

He also points out that there is no privilege, condition or political concept that can justify equating that people with what DPS represents.

"It is clear that Messrs. Vladimir Joković, Dragoslav Šćekić and others like them are bringing members of the SNP to the point of treason and that they want to justify their actions in the most cynical and, for them, painless ways," Milačić said.

According to him, that policy overturned the democratic will on August 30 embodied in the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić, then the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Aleksa Bečić, and finally the parliamentary majority embodied in the support of those political subjects who fought for the removal of the regime, "and not their replacement by the voices of DPS, its coalition partners"

"The leadership of the SNP, behind the backs of the membership and the whole of Montenegro, has already agreed on the prime minister's chair for its memorandum partner Dritan Abazović, and the chair of the president of the Assembly for the main protagonist of the electoral will issued in front of the SNP," says President Prava.

He also adds that considering that they heard from the leadership of the SNP today that, if Dritan Abazović becomes prime minister, it would be "normal according to all the rules" for the SNP to be the president of the Parliament of Montenegro, "it is clear that this is not it is not about any rules of politics and democracy, but rather the principle of betrayal and treacherous agreements that have behind-the-scenes rules and behind-the-scenes logic depending on the degree of participation in the overthrow of the Government, the overthrow of the President of the Assembly and the overthrow of the will of the citizens on August 30.

"However, the dirty political agreements that bind Mr. Joković, Šćekić and the leadership of the SNP, do not bind any member and common man who keeps to himself and does not accept traitorous privileges," Milašić believes.

He also reminded that his vote was given to this majority for the first and only time in his life by the blessed Metropolitan Amfilohije and that all of them, including the SNP, as he says, have a special piety and responsibility towards this voice and every voice of the Church "which is at his call went to the polls in extraordinary circumstances and supported the majority on August 30"

"That is why it is very important to keep in mind the call of the Montenegrin-Limorska Metropolitanate not to form a minority government, especially not with the DPS, which is still at this moment inheriting the program of looting and destruction of that Church, which it showed on September 5 as well as in the messages which he sent during the overthrow of the Government and the overthrow of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro. We underline that this call of the Church belongs to its civic activity as an organization that systematically used the right to choose and vote in the elections and whose votes in the elections led to the winning of the mandate of those who now make agreements with the DPS and destroy what was achieved in that historic social effort," Milacic said.
