The new president of the board of the Bosniak side in Plav is Kemal Purišić. The members of the new convocation of the Municipal Board of that party, at the constitutive session, decided that Purišić would succeed Damir Gurić, the Bosniak Party announced.
BS added that in the new convocation of the OO, which has 45 members, two thirds are members who have not been in the party bodies until now. Among the newly elected, 31 members have a university degree, various titles, which guarantees complete policy management in all areas.
"Kemal Purišić is a long-time high-ranking official of the Bosniak Party. He is the former vice-president of the party, he was a member of the BS in the Parliament of Montenegro in two convocations, and during the mandate of the 42nd Government of Montenegro, he was the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare," the announcement reads.
It is emphasized that the intention in the coming period will be the improvement of political processes, with an emphasis on the municipality of Plav.
"The goal is to continue the consistent implementation of the BS program and election promises, with an emphasis on the affirmation of Bosniak culture and other peculiarities. Also, dynamic, inclusive and balanced development of the municipality are priorities for the next period. We will work on opening new jobs and improving the living standards of our citizens , through the valorization of numerous and unused development resources of the municipality of Plav", said Purišić.
They also add that as Purišić pointed out, as president of the BS board, he will advocate for better traffic connections and for more state investments in the public infrastructure of the municipality of Plav.
