The local government in Tivat will not succumb to the pressures and threats to the DPS from close tycoons and criminals and will continue to fight for the protection of the public interest and property of that Municipality.

This was said by the representatives of the civic list Narod Pobjeđeje and Goran Božović - honorably and responsibly for a better Tivat at the press conference called on the occasion of the invasion of the official premises of Oština and threats to the President of the Municipality Željko Komnenović (NP) and other officials was sent by a businessman last Sunday Rado Gago Arsić.

Komnenović and the head of the Internal Audit Service, Optina Tivat Jela Mrdak reported Arsić to the police on that occasion, and the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor has not yet made an official statement regarding the qualification of the crime.

"He who thinks that he can scare us with such brazen intrusions in the style of adolescent thugs, insults and threats is very stupid. He can only provoke us, and time will show if he is smart," said one of the NP leaders. Mirko Kovačević.

He emphasized that Arsić's intrusion into the Municipality building and the threats he sent to Komnenović and his collaborators "although the most drastic, are only part of the mosaic of aggressive acts of crime-fascist scoundrels who, until August 30, 2020, were working in Tivat as much as they wanted to and now they cannot to come to terms with the fact that that time has irretrievably passed".

He added that Arsić's intrusion should be read "as a motive that is in the same story as the frequent chauvinist announcements of certain DPS-satellite parties and various private national councils, where they try to create an atmosphere that some kind of persecution of Croats, Montenegrins and some "innocents" is allegedly taking place in Tivat. people" who "may have happened to have ties to the past criminal regime."

Kovacevic emphasized that he is the former mayor of Tivat Siniša Kusovac (DPS) by signing the annex to the contract in the construction of a new large residential and commercial building on Seljanovo, in which the Municipality entered with Arsić, "committed the biggest criminal offense during his mandate and one of the biggest individual damages he caused to the Municipality of Tivat". He pointed out that the forgiveness of utilities of over 800.000 euros to Arsić as the investor of the building, and not the treatment of that money together with its ownership in the plot on which the building is being built, as the role of the Municipality in a joint business, and the controversial distribution of built-up areas with Arsić, resulted in damage to the city. which is preliminarily estimated at at least 2,5 million euros".

"We certainly will not allow this to end just like that, just as we did not allow Boka Place to be built without Porto Montenegro paying us the utility bills for it, even though Kusovac and his associates had already brought solutions that would be forgiven even in that case utilities in the value of over 2,4 million euros. Porto Montenegro tried to use all legal and political means to achieve those privileges that the former government promised it, but it did not succeed and in the end it privatized that it had to comply with the law and pay to the city what is his. Some local sheriffs don't seem to have realized that yet, but they will, be sure," said Kovačević, pointing out that the current Tivat government has in the past filed a number of criminal charges against officials of the former DPS-SD-HGI government for causing damage to the city, but that the Supreme and Special State Prosecutor's Offices have not done anything significant on that occasion because they are not state institutions, but the institutions of the former regime and the main protectors of its crimes".

"If it wasn't for them, Siniša Kusovac and many others would have been in prison a long time ago. If Kusovac was behind bars, various local tycoons and these few pseudo-politicians from the scraps and remnants of the parties of the former regime, who are now jointly attacking us, would probably not have been so brave. ", he pointed out.

Vice President of the Municipality Vladimir Arsic (NP) announced that the local administration will ask the authorities to freeze any sale of business and residential premises in the new building on Seljanov until the end of the investigation, "because this is how we protect the interests of the municipality, as well as the interests of potential buyers not to buy real estate whose status is disputed ".

Second Vice President of the Municipality Goran Božović he pointed out that he most strongly condemns violence and threats as a form of expression of one's dissatisfaction and said that the local administration of Tivat will not give up its actions in the direction of protecting the public interest and property of the city. Alluding to the announcements of the DPS, SD, SDP and HGI, he said that he strongly condemns the "recently intensified gross abuse of national and religious sentiments in order to achieve daily political, personal and party interests".

Member of the NP Dejan Risančić emphasized that Arsić "didn't threaten Mayor Komnenović as an individual, but all of us who, in one way or another, are part of this local administration and all of the over 4.500 citizens of Tivat who on August 30, 2020, voted to end the with the criminal practices that were applied until that day."

Emphasizing that a large number of supporters of the Tivat Action, which is part of the NP, voted for the Black and White coalition in the 2020 parliamentary elections, Kovačević said that it was its leader Dritan Abazovic the biggest culprit for what is happening now.

"The most responsible for the situation where the members of the former criminal regime have 'collected' in the last month is the insane political project of Dritan Abazović and Vladimir Joković. All participants in the state government are responsible for the fact that nothing significant has been done from August 30, 2020 until today to establish the rule of law. Dritan Abazoviuć is most to blame because he talked the most and promised the Law on Lustration and the Law on the Origin of Property, which he said the URA had ready and that they would be adopted first. Arsić: Komnenović is hunting for votes behind my back

Tivat businessman Rado Gago Arsić told the Bokanews portal yesterday that there was no conflict or verbal threats against the President of the Municipality Željko Komnenović, and that it is true that he "visited him unannounced".

"Komnenović only filed a complaint with the police six days after our meeting and filed a criminal complaint against me.
