Businessman Vasilije Miličković, who was proposed by the Citizens' Group "Civil Action" to be a candidate in the presidential elections, in the event that the opposition does not have a single candidate, will do everything to restore the rule of law, dignity and morality of all citizens in Montenegro, said the independent councilor of SO Budva, Stevan Džaković, at the press conference organized by the Citizens' Group "Civil Action".
Džaković, who submitted an initiative for Mičković's candidacy together with the Civic Action, said that if the opposition does not stand behind one candidate, it will confirm that, as he said, he does not want to change anything in Montenegro and to work for the Democratic Party of Socialists. (DPS).
"We invite Vasilij Miličković, a proven fighter for freedom from the occupying power and partitocracy, to accept his candidacy for the president of Montenegro in front of humiliated, disenfranchised and robbed citizens. If the opposition does not stand behind one candidate, he will confirm that he works for the DPS, that they are part of the same team and that satisfied with their status in a partitocratic state," said Džaković in the PR Center.
He believes that the opposition will not present a single candidate in the presidential elections, which, he said, is clear based on the statements of their leaders.
"If the opposition comes up with more candidates, it means that it has no intention of winning the elections, but of helping the DPS candidate. In that case, citizens should organize themselves, gather signatures of support and propose proven freedom fighters as candidates in the upcoming presidential elections." , announced Džaković.
According to him, Miličković will do everything to restore the rule of law, dignity and morality of all citizens in Montenegro, and as he said, he will help to "liberate society from the fear inherited by Đukanović and his DPS for 27 years".
"We suggest to the proven fighter for the unique performance of the opposition, Mr. Milicković, that, in case the opposition does not adopt a single candidate, accept the candidacy and point the finger at a small number of people who behave as if they inherited Montenegro, as if it were their private property and everything under the guise of democracy," said Džaković.
When asked by a journalist whether Milicković could threaten an opponent from the ranks of DPS, Džaković said that it depends on several factors.
"It depends on several factors. If Miličković is the only candidate in front of the opposition, then he certainly can. Whoever is the unique candidate of the opposition, he would defeat the DPS candidate," Džaković believes.
