Democratic Montenegro projects that after the local elections in Berane, according to data from the field, it will be one of the most significant political factors in this city.
This was announced at the press conference by the President of the Municipal Board, Novica Obradović.
He said that it is absolutely certain that he will not join the post-election coalition with the DPS, and that all other political forces that think well of the city are welcome for cooperation.
At the conference, the program presented by the Democrats in the local elections, which in 30 points talks about their plans for the further development of Beran.
The holder of the local list of Democrats, Damjan Ćulafic, said that the program represents their greatest strength.
He spoke about numerous infrastructure plans and projects in the fields of culture, education, sports, and ecology.
"When it comes to the economy, our focus will be on businessmen from Beran, and everyone else is welcome," said Ćulafic.
Obradović spoke about the need to further help farmers and the formation of the so-called House of Agriculture.
He also announced projects in the field of improving traffic infrastructure, construction of parks and modern garages, bicycle paths.
Obradović also said that tourism and the valorization of the tourist potential of the municipality of Beran occupy a special place in the development program.
"It is necessary to revive the ski center of Lokva, make better use of the mountain Jelovica and plan the construction of a gondola from Jelovica to the top of Ćupovi on Bjelasica," Obradović said.
"We worked and built as much as we could. Now we have to and want more and better. There is no vision of Beran as the center of the north of Montenegro without the opening of construction sites in every part of our municipality.
