The Democratic Front (DF) announced today that "the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić (Prime Minister of Montenegro) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MVP) rejected the request of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to open polling stations in Berane, Sutomore and Budva, in anticipation of the upcoming presidential, parliamentary and local elections, scheduled for the third of April in Serbia".
They added that in this way, the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Đorđe Radulović, are trying to implement targeted obstruction so that the citizens of Serbia, who live in these municipalities, are prevented from using their right to vote, guaranteed by the Constitution.
"And, to make the scandal complete, during the previous regime of Duško Marković and Milo Đukanović, approval was given for the opening of those polling stations in Budva, Sutomor and Berane. The continuation of the anti-Serb policy and anti-Serb activities of the Government of Zdravko Krivokapić and Dritan Abazović (Vice President of the Government of Montenegro) is experiencing its own political and human downfall. This is especially so if you bear in mind that Dritan Abazović asked the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, for wheat and corn a few days ago , and should we remind you that the first vaccines against covid arrived precisely from Serbia, with the consent and goodwill of the President of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Serbia," the DF press release points out.
They added that this is why they are asking Krivokapić and Abazović "with what human and political face can they expect anything more from Serbia, while denying Serbian citizens in Montenegro their right to vote, and indirectly interfering again in Serbia's internal affairs?"
"That's why the DF calls on them once again, not to reconsider, but to change this shameful decision, and give consent to the opening of polling stations in Budva, Berane and Sutomore, so that all citizens of the Republic of Serbia in Montenegro can exercise their right to vote. Otherwise, this will be just one more in a series of embarrassments for Zdravko Krivokapić and Dritan Abazović, who "became famous" for their anti-Serb decisions to such an extent that Milo Đukanović and Duško Mar would envy them. Ković even from the "best" period of their anti-Serbism," the DF statement concluded.
