Russia declared the Montenegrin diplomat an undesirable person

Russia announced today that it has declared a Montenegrin diplomat an undesirable person and that it is a reciprocal measure.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced that it summoned the Ambassador of Montenegro in Moscow, Milorad Šćepanović, and handed him a note declaring the associate of the Embassy in Moscow an undesirable person.

It is stated that this measure is a response to the expulsion of a Russian diplomat from Montenegro.

On March 4, Montenegro declared the Russian diplomat Viktor Antipin an undesirable person, based on the assessment of the relevant Montenegrin security authorities about his activities, which were judged to be in violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

Antipin, accredited in Montenegro, was declared persona non grata - undesirable, based on the assessment of the National Security Agency (ANB), the News reported earlier.
