The holder of the list of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) in Beranam, Tihomir Bogavac, said that he is sure that the president of the municipality will be from that party for the next four years as well.
"I invite the traditional coalition partners to sit down and talk and summarize the programs into one and move forward in the next four years," Bogavac said.
He said that in the pre-election campaign against the SNP "they played dirty".
"But the SNP proved and showed that it has the strongest membership in Berane. When everyone thought and wanted to collapse us from all sides, we showed firmness and dignity. The election day passed as it should, in a peaceful atmosphere without incidents. We owe special thanks to everyone member and sympathizer of the SNP because they survived Golgotha in this campaign," Bogavac said.
He added that the elections showed that the SNP is still the strongest force in Berane" and that in the previous period they were the pillar of the government and will continue to be so in the future.
"I don't know who will get which positions after the election, but the SNP will certainly have a municipal president," Bogavac said.
