The municipal committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) announced that it will file criminal charges against its former councilor Milica Ljutić for what they said were vote falsifications, as well as those responsible.
From OO DPS Kotor, they invited their former councilors Ljutić, Dejan Ognjanović and Mladen Donković to return their mandates to that party.
The President of the Kotor DPS Municipal Board Neđeljko Moškov, as stated in the announcement, said that the political scene of Kotor is witnessing "unprecedented abuses in order to preserve the incompetent government by force, through political corruption, threats and blackmail, whose personification is the President of the Municipality Vladimir Jokić ".
He also stated that Ljutić, Ognjanović and Donković decided that, contrary to the position of all DPS authorities, they gave a quorum to hold a session of the Kotor Municipal Council and thereby "deprived the citizens of the right to go to the polls and give their opinion about the current government in Kotor" before the certain introduction of forced administration.
"In this way, they caused damage to the city, the citizens and insulted all the voters of our party because of their petty and personal interests. After the session, we learned that the voting at the ninth session of the Kotor Municipal Assembly was carried out in an illegal manner. of the Municipal Assembly, it is clearly seen that councilor Milica Ljutić voted for herself but also for two other councilors. This is an obvious example of a violation of the law and rules of procedure of the Kotor Municipal Assembly, which clearly state that it is the councilor who must vote in person. This violation of the law, neither the secretary nor the president of the Assembly reacted, which additionally allowed the lawlessness to pass without an adequate reaction from those who were obliged to take care of the legality of the work of the assembly. This procedure Ljutić represents a serious abuse and a criminal offense. Due to all these circumstances, DPS announces criminal charges against the said councilor and responsible persons", said Moskov.
He adds that everything points "to political corruption that should have enabled their survival in power".
"We clearly conclude that it is about political corruption of the escaped councilors and due to the fact that they did not hint at this dishonorable move by a single act until the day before the assembly. Also, the threats of criminal charges by Mr. Jokić and the fact that he himself admitted that he keeps the charges in drawers, as well as the fact that he submitted a false report, as a form of pressure on me, shows in what dirty ways he was ready to fight for his seats and those of his friends and godfathers whom he employed in our municipality," said Moškov.
He called on Ljutić, Ognjanović and Donković to return their mandates to the Assembly, that is, to the party "that made these mandates possible for them".
