By canceling his own decision on the allocation of funds for the implementation of the program to sports organizations in 2022 and requesting that the Evaluation Commission meet again in order to treat the issue anew, the acting director of the Sports and Youth Administration, Marko Begović, showed what a mess the department is in. manages, said deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Ivan Mitrović.
"As we entered the month of April, and given that the sports federations have not yet received a single euro from the state, we can see the stage reached by the leadership staff's behavior, which with this kind of behavior brings down the sports organization to the lowest level. We remind you that we have already pointed out that the decision Administration for Sports and Youth, the Karate Association of Montenegro was left without funds in the competition for co-financing the program of sports organizations. However, we now see that this was not an example of the discriminatory and step-motherly attitude of the relevant ministry towards these top athletes, but a kind of ignorance of acting director Marko Begović and his associates and the inability to perform their functions," Mitrović announced.
It is a shame, as he said, that the athletes who represent Montenegro are left without the support of the country whose colors they defend due to the carelessness and irresponsibility of the relevant ministry.
"Once again, we see that for our best ambassadors from the world of sports, but also for all the citizens of Montenegro, our country needs a new government that will not be the denominator of such scandalous behavior," concluded Mitrović.
