Nikola Đurašković, candidate for mayor of Prijestonica Cetinje and holder of the "SDP - Da živí Cetinje" list, addressed an open letter to mothers from Cetinje.
He said that the "SDP - Da živí Cetinje" list in its program for the elections on November 26 has a plan to correct the injustice to Cetinje mothers.
"When we take responsibility for the management of the capital, we will immediately take the following actions: we will compensate mothers who lost the allowance for three or more children and all single parents whose children go to kindergarten, mothers who lost the allowance for three or more children and all single parents whose children go to school, we will provide books, school supplies and other expenses for school, mothers who have lost allowance for three or more children and all single parents whose children do not go to kindergarten or school, we will exempt them from all taxes that go to the budget of the Capital, we will provide compensation of 500 euros for each newborn child, we will provide internships and permanent employment to all able-bodied persons with disabilities," Đurašković pointed out.
He added that in addition to this, in the plans they have for creating new jobs, special attention will be paid to mothers with three or more children, and to all single parents in the capital.
"We don't want to give you unrealistic promises, but what we can and certainly want to fulfill, and that's why we need your support. That day - November 26, is the day of our common hope to give a chance to our Cetinje - a living Cetinje. elections and vote for change, that hope will more easily become our reality. As always throughout history, the good and successful future of each of us, and thus Cetinje, depends on your motherly support," said Đurašković.
He called on mothers to be active participants in changes and the birth of a new, happy Cetinje in which Cetinje mothers will have a dignified and happy life.
"You who have created a new life know that the most important thing for giving birth is a safe and warm home - a home that we can build through honest work, in the city where we took our first breath and grew up in happy times of justice and decent work for everyone who wanted to work. Our mothers and fathers built Cetinje and built thousands of jobs. Cetinje lived well, proud of its Obod, Košuta, Tara, Bojana, Trgopromet... You know best how much effort you put into raising children and you know that without the willingness to fight we will not restore the dignity of living and working in our once strong capital city. Once strong, because today the economy of Cetinje no longer exists, there are no jobs, there are fewer and fewer newborns, first-year students, marriages and families, people are leaving the capital city. Cetinje is disappearing and dying before our eyes ", said Đurašković.
He said that Cetinje's SDP will go to the elections on November 26 with the message "Long live Cetinje".
"We have assembled a team of young, honorable, professional people who have a vision of a capital city that will live in, work in, and restore dignity and, finally, a smile on the faces of our citizens. SDP did everything to pass the Law on Support for Mothers of Three or More children. Then we clearly said that there is money. The state must collect 750 million in tax debt from tycoons, to take from the richest, to give to the poorest. If the tax debt were collected, it would have to pay benefits to mothers in the next 10 years, as and for other types of support for orphaned children, persons with disabilities, single mothers, foster families and all mothers who have always been a pillar of Montenegrin society. So, there is money! Unfortunately, the DPS will not collect taxes, but that is why it abolished benefits for mothers. Instead tycoons hit their mothers, men have nothing to do," said Đurašković.
