Moškov to Kumburović: You dared to qualify me with words that are spoken in anger or panic

Neđeljko Moškov, president of the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Kotor, told the Kotor doctor Igor Kumburović that he dared to qualify him with words that have long been worn out and are uttered in great anger or panic.

He replied to the letter that Kumburović sent him earlier.

We transcribe Moškov's address to Kumburović in its entirety:

"Dear Dr. Kumburović,

I am addressing you exclusively for professional reasons, although your reply was not sent to the Municipal Board or to me, but to your media founders through whom you are trying to wash your actions. I personally don't have a negative attitude towards you, I'm even indifferent, I'm just doing what's in the job description of the president of the Municipal Board of DPS Kotor and I'm guided by the Statute of the largest party in Montenegro, for the implementation of which I'm personally responsible.

As I told you in my letter, you tend to avoid the obligations arising from your party status: you don't call, you don't answer calls, you don't attend meetings of party bodies of which you are a member, and former party comrades publicly identify you with their "freedom" flight. For these reasons, I am obliged to confirm your position in the party and your membership in it through internal procedures, and not through the media, as you do.

I am glad that your position is being heard for the first time, even if it is through "independent media". We reveal ourselves the most in places where we want to remain hidden. Thank you for your honesty, which is more reminiscent of self-projection, when you say that my three-month chairmanship of the Municipal Board of DPS Kotor led to me, as you state, "generating corruption". I don't know why, but to everyone else, your actions smell like the same .

I remind you that in the last convocation of the Municipal Committee, you were one of the candidates for the party president in Kotor and that you did not receive the consent of the Presidency.

Since you wholeheartedly advocated for "party reform", you had the opportunity to run for office three months ago. I guess the only problem then was that there was no one to suggest you, or that you only like the parties in power.

You have certainly given your mark and contribution to this party (as well as your family), so I am using this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation so far. Unlike you, I know how to appreciate a good deed, but also to strongly resist any dishonorable act, subterfuge or replacement of theses.

Hard words are not necessary for parting, so collegially I suggest that they leave the expressions used in the letter for the street. You dared to qualify me with words that have long since been used up and are uttered in great anger or panic. You have no reason to be angry with us, and only You know if you have reason to panic.

Kotor obliges me to be polite, for sure, although obviously not you. Due to such situations, it is a privilege to live in a small and beautiful town, because in it everyone knows who I am and what I am like, just as everyone knows very well who you are and what you are like. By the next election, it will be clearer who is fighting for a better, more decent, fairer and more cultural Kotor, and who is fighting for armchairs, privileges and behind-the-scenes actions," Moškov told Kumburović.
