The unconstitutional postponement of the elections, trampling on the powers of the president and running away from the elections is evidence of the impotence of the proponents of this change in the law, according to Democratic Montenegro deputy Vladimir Martinović.
"With the Law on Local Self-Government, they determine the date of the elections and announce the elections, and with the same law they postpone the elections in Budva and Tivat, where the elections due to the dissolution of the parliament are held by force of law," he wrote on his Twitter account.
He assessed that "this is a joke".
"But you obviously don't watch the show when you're sick, that is, afraid of the election. You can run away from defeat, but you can't run away. It will come sooner or later," Martinović believes.
