Bokeški Forum (BF) submitted today to the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) Tivat a list of 32 candidates for councilors for the elections that should be held in Tivat on June 5.

"The very name of the list, on which there are three women out of the first four candidates, and which reads "Let's go to Tivat, let's go to Boka", says enough about our election program. Not wanting to engage in any calculations of those who care about Tivat and Boka no matter how much we care about last year's snow, we have fulfilled our legal obligation on time and we are ready to welcome the upcoming elections. The very thought that someone wants to shamelessly postpone the elections in Tivat and Budva, cities where forced administration is in place, seduces us and indicates the political strength of the actors and farce. We do not want to participate in it in that way, but we have complied with all the prescribed deadlines and procedures on time," the BF statement emphasizes.

They added that they are extremely satisfied with the way their personnel responded to their obligations.

"That's why, despite offers for coalitions, we decided to stand independently in the elections, proud of who we are. With the main goal of advocating a program of maximum decentralization in Boka and Tivat, in which everyone of good will will be a welcome guest. In which Boka and its status have no alternative for us. Montenegro is our country! Boka is our Home," the BF statement reads
