Minister of Foreign Affairs Ranko Krivokapić was congratulated on taking office by Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Belgium Aleksandar De Kro, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, Head of Diplomacy of the Czech Republic Jan Lipavski, and Crown Prince Aleksandar Karađorđević.
De Kro expressed his belief that future cooperation will further strengthen the bilateral ties of the two countries, primarily in the political and economic fields, as well as joint efforts in achieving the strategic goal of Montenegro - full membership in the EU.
He also expressed his satisfaction that, as he stated, in demanding times, Montenegro showed its readiness to continuously and fully harmonize with the Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy. "I am convinced that this political orientation will be maintained in the mandate of the new government and under your leadership, as the head of Montenegrin diplomacy," said De Kro in his congratulatory message.
